Subdivision: None

Forty acres of Colorado's Best views, 360 degrees worth.  No covenants, year round access, and close to pavement.  Tall pines with a mix of oaks, ponderosa, and firs. Sandstone formataions hidden throughout.  Power to the property and Cell works great.  Public Lands very close by.

Christian's 40 acres is about 3 miles off of pavement and only 5 miles from HWY 12 and Weston, Colorado.  There are no covenants and power is right at the 360 build site.  The property is bordered by a couple of 40 acre tracts, one with a home.  The road is maintained by the gas company year round.  No need for dues.  Plus, the road ends up here, onto a very large ranch.  Never gonna be many people up here.  The road is steep for about 200 yards.

Hiking off the 360 buildsite or riding your quad down your own jeep trail into a private canyon, you may decide to build more into the property.  About half way down the jeep trail, originating along the eastern border, you'll find a flat sandstone formed level area.  Build here and enjoy your bowl of widlife as they stroll by in the early morn and late evening.

5 minutes away is Colorado's Largest Wildlife area.  15 minutes away and your at the mountain lakes kickin it or flipin it with your rod in the water and pan sized trout poppin out.  Not a bad thought.  Where are you now??  Could be here.  There's National Forest and mountains to hang out in or on too.  The cool breezes and pine odors are too much to miss.  Makes your mouth water, don't it??

For you winter and summer acitivities, Cuchara Mountain Resort is available with 28 ski trails, mountian biking, hiking, horse back, local events, and summer dude ranch.

Las Animas County contains the San Isabel National forest and Several Wildlife Areas, Wilderness Area, and 7 lakes all within an hour and a half drive.  Most of the parks and lakes are between 5 and 45 minutes of Trinidad or any parcel of land.

From Trinidad you can hit Santa Fe, Toas, Angle Fire, Red River, and Monarch all in 3 hours time.  Wolf Creek and any of the other major front range ski areas are within 4 hours.  Two hours away is the Rio Grande National forest and San Juan Wilderness, some of the wildest country left in the lower 48.  The last known Grizzly in Colorado was found in the San Juan Wilderness.
