SEE 18 Minute Drive to and through, plus DRONE
Video.
40 Acres of tall pines, good views, good chances of water
for a well, lots of animals, very private, very few people, gentle terrain,
wild to say the least, but only 40 minutes to town, with pavement within a few
miles, and year round maintained graveled roads to the property, no problem
with access, and very close to public lands. Power is just a little more
than a quarter mile away. This is cool stuff....
Las Animas County has the San Isabel National forest and
Several Wildlife Areas, Wilderness Area, and 7 lakes all within an hour and a
half drive. Most of the parks and lakes are between 5 and 45 minutes of
Trinidad or any parcel of land. From Trinidad you can hit Santa Fe, Taos,
Angle Fire, Red River, and Monarch all in 3 hours time. Wolf Creek is an hour
more. Two hours away is the Rio Grande National forest and San Juan
Wilderness, some of the wildest country left in the lower 48. The last known
Grizzly in Colorado was found in the San Juan Wilderness.
