The lot is located on top of a mesa mount at about 8900 feet. From the mesa you can see for miles. The ground is sloping with an excellent build site to take in the views. Views, proximity to public land, privacy, good hiking, tall pines, animals visiting, and water provided to the lot are the main attractions.

The lot sits 50 minutes Northwest of Trinidad, CO. and about 35 minutes West of Aguilar CO. Access is year round. The POA dues are the lowest around at 100 bucks a year. Taxes are so low their mind blowing at 15 bucks per year.

If your a hunter or outdoor person, this lot is ideal for the mountainous terrain and public lands so close by. Deer, Elk, Bear, Bobcat, Turkey, Mountain Lion, etc

The water is from a shared well, 15 GPM.  Drilling wells in our area average 21 dollars per foot and 400 to 800 feet.  The wells on this mesa average 800 to 1000k feet.

The weather is fantastic. 80 degree average summer temp and 50 degree average winter temp.

Las Animas County contains the San Isabel National forest and Several Wildlife Areas, Wilderness Area, and 7 lakes all within an hour and a half drive.  Most of the parks and lakes are between 5 and 45 minutes of Trinidad or any parcel of land.  

From Trinidad you can hit Santa Fe, Toas, Angle Fire, Red River, and Monarch all in 3 hours time.  Wolf Creek and any of the other major front range ski areas are within 4 hours.  Two hours away is the Rio Grande National forest and San Juan Wilderness, some of the wildest country left in the lower 48.  The last known Grizzly in Colorado was found in the San Juan Wilderness.
