Subdivision:   New Cimarron Ranch

Broad mountain views with huge rocks and boulders. Lots of trees, with a mix of Firs and Aspen. Power to camp/RV/build site with nice rolling terrain. Phone is by cell with good coverage.  Excellent Sangre De Cristo views from site, ready for your RV/Home/cabin. Owners are negotiable.

This property is south facing, tucked away in a smaller valley off of Wet Canyon road. Hanks Canyon is well known for its water. The water table is just below the valley surface. Ranchers ran their cattle here and in WET Canyon during droughts. Good place to drill a water well.

The property has a camp/RV/build site with power to it. You have views of the Sangres and over Hanks Canyon from the build site.  Sit on your deck over the rock bluff and watch the wildlife feeding in the pasture below. A mix of ponderosa and firs surround and blanket the land.  Boulders, from globe to volkswagon in size, buttress the sandstone flat tops.

The property goes to the top of a high mesa. A hike or ride to the top will reward you with 360 degree views of our areas best land marks; the Sangres, Spanish Peaks, Fisher's Peak, and Miles of Mountain Valleys to Wheeler Peak in New Mexico.

Power to camp/RV/build site. Phone by cell via Alltel or Verizon

Access is year round. The road to the lot is taken care of by the association for 100 bucks per year. The owners created a really nice drive off the subdivsion road to the camp/RV/build site, inculding dozing, cul-vert, and gravel.  They also thinned some trees around the site to open the views to the West over the Sangres.
