This property consists of 35 acres and a log home, sitting on a hill above the approximate 15 acres of meadow treed area. The northern, southern, and eastern boundaries are fenced. The southern needs two cattle gaurds to complete the fencing, connecting it to the western boundary fence that you need to install. The home and southern facing land will warm you and your animals in the meadow during the average 50 degree winter temp days. Views reach into New Mexico, back to Fisher's Peak over Trinidad, and catch the tops of the Sangre De Cristo Range.
The log home has a new master and master bath addition, increasing the size of the home to 1872 sqft. The roof, vaulted wood ceilings, fixtures, floors, cabinets, counter tops, electric, plumbing, heating, and appliances are all new.
The master and a guest room are on the ground floor. For the overflow of family and friends, especially the childern and grandchildern, you can use the upstairs loft, large enough for lots of bunkbeds or make it into another bedroom. A full bath is available for your guests, while you enjoy your private bath off the master.
Three larger ranches surround this property with one 35 acre tract bordering to the West. Privacy is a big feature. An hour from town via 15 miles of county maintained graveled road. With year round access and not going to town more than once a week or every two if you like, the city is left far behind. Plenty of good like minded neighbors up here too. The firestation is 6 miles down the road and a new volunteer substation is being built on Aspen Rose Ranch.
Some fit and trim work still needs to be completed. The cistern has been installed but not hooked up yet. Minerals come with this property too.
National Forest and Wilderness area are only 5 miles away.
