70 isolated acres, no covenants, 1000 acres plus of BLM Bordering, close
to town, close to Trinidad Lake, very private, and no covenants.
Ranging from a creek bed canyon to upper mesas, this land has a good mix
of tall and short pines and animal trails. People live year round in
this area in large homes but with only a few per square mile. The land
is very private with good wildlife, very good. There is a drive up to a
meadow area you will see in the video and pics. A water well should
not be a problem to drill.
Las Animas County has the San Isabel National forest and
Several Wildlife Areas, Wilderness Area, and 7 lakes all within a short drive
of one another. Most of the parks and lakes are between 5 and 45 minutes of
Trinidad or any parcel of land.
From Trinidad you can hit Santa Fe, Taos, Angle Fire, Red
River, and Monarch all in 3 hours time. Wolf Creek is an hour more. Two hours
away is the Rio Grande National forest and San Juan Wilderness, some of the
wildest country left in the lower 48. The last known Grizzly in Colorado was
found in the San Juan Wilderness.
